I just found out that Chase and Paige are signed up for EFY this summer!! EFY is where I truly gained my testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!! The entire week is filled with good, clean, fun gospel lessons and activities! Thursday's everyone gets dressed up in their sunday clothes and the boys and girls split up for the first part of the day. (this is where you learn and practice the song).. later that night there is a fireside for everyone and at the end of it you get to sing the EFY Medley!! My favorite part is when the guys start singing, you can just feel how strong the spirit is!! Then Friday night there is a dance and at the end of the dance all of the counselors go up and sing the theme song of the years EFY, afterwords you get to sing the Medley one more time!! I never made it through the song on Friday night without crying! haha I will always love this song, it still gives me the chills every time I listen to it, I am SO thankful that I was able to go to EFY and I am even more excited to share this with Chase and Paige!!

I ALWAYS think of you when I hear this song. I can still picture you sitting on the floor, listening to your EFY CD and crying because of your EFY blues :(

ReplyDeleteI made Chase watch this with me last night. I didn't think he would sit through the entire thing but he did. I loved it. I had no idea you did this. I am so excited for Chase to go this year.
